Victoria Nava has performed on major European stages, including the Robert-Schumann-Saal in Düsseldorf, Bozar in Brussels, and the Auditorio Ciudad de León in Spain. She has taken part in renowned international festivals such as the Bologna Festival, Festival Nei Suoni dei Luoghi, Schumannfest, the Internationales Musikfestival Euregio-Rhein-Waal, and the XVII Ciclo Maestros Internacionales.
As a chamber musician, she performed in the Campuskonzert concert series, broadcast live on the German cultural radio station WDR 3, and was selected by the Carl Dörken Stiftung as one of the talents for the Best of NRW series. She has also had the opportunity to perform at Palais Wittgenstein and the Heinrich-Heine-Institut on the occasion of the reopening of the historic Robert-Schumann-Haus in Düsseldorf.
Born in Belgium to a Russian mother and an Italian father, she currently lives in Germany. She began her musical training at the Königliches Konservatorium Brüssel and continued at the Robert Schumann Hochschule Düsseldorf, where she first completed her Bachelor’s degree and subsequently earned two Master’s degrees in Piano and Music Education. Her teachers have included Paolo Giacometti, Sandra Brune Mathar, and Sergey Leschenko.
Her awards include prizes at the International Piano Competitions in Orbetello and at AGiMus Firenze, at the Mahler-Institut Prag, as well as third prize at the Chamber Music Competition “Sieghard Rometsch” in Germany. Victoria is supported by the Deutschlandstipendium and the Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now Rhein-Ruhr association. She has also been a scholarship holder of Progetto Musica and of the PROMOS scholarship at the Robert Schumann Hochschule Düsseldorf—a grant supporting the realization of international music projects. In addition, she has received scholarships for innovative projects, including TONALi Artepreneurship (Hamburg) and Musiker:innen Beflügeln (Cologne).
This pianist’s outstanding soloistic and chamber music level, combined with her flawless concert performances, the highest technical precision, and her musical interpretations, guarantee the continued development of her career. As a performer, Ms. Nava is extremely popular with enthusiastic audiences and is always a welcome and much-appreciated artist.
